Who can access funds?

Parents, teachers and administrators.

Who completes the application?

School Administrators are responsible for completing and submitting each application with parents, teachers and school board members assisting where necessary. 

When are applications due?

Applications are due twice a year; November 31 and May 31.  Submit to: See applications under the "HOW WE CARE" tab.

What happens after application is submitted?

Each application will be reviewed by the NEF board.  Schools will be contacted  for interviews and confirmation of information.  NEF directors will meet with school officials to review application to make final decisions.


There are three separate applications that represent NEF target areas

  • Application for facility improvements**

  • Application for students**

  • Application for professional development**
